Robert lives in Tauranga, is aged 52 and married to Liz. They have four daughters, now all working. Robert and Liz have the Cookie Time franchise for BOP.

After a change in business (free weekends) Robert has stepped in the deep end and rekindled his youthful passion of motor sport by acquiring and running the Ford Escort Chev V8 built and campaigned earlier by Grant Brennan. He is on a fast learning curve and wanted to compete in a friendly environment. The car has had a new engine installed and is in the process of being  sorted in the handling department.

Car

Built in 1988 and raced by Grant Brennan successfully for about two and a half years. Car has been stored for about 8 years and has now been updated.

Engine 5.8 litre small block Chev engine with all top components, dry sumped, Holley carburettor and about 550- 600 hp.

Gearbox 4 speed

Differential 9 inch Ford
