Phill is 44 years old, married to Karen (who has her own Starlet race car as well) and lives in Waitara, Taranaki.
Phill is the owner/Managing Director of a consultancy company and is supported in his racing by Karen and their four boys and their partners, and has had a lot of help from Neil Marshall building the car.
Phill has competed “years ago” in speedway, and is now trying to come to terms with the concept of right hand turns as well as left turns.
The Commodore was built up from scratch after it was bought from a car sales yard in November 06, and has done local Taranaki Car Club events and the 07 Taranaki tarmac Rally, and remains road legal still as well.
