Jon Blewett                          Car # 70 Holden Commodore

Jon is a 23 year old automotive machinist from Auckland. He started motor racing 6 years ago when he was 18 in the HQ class.

The HQ’s were a great class to learn in and after 2 seasons Jon moved into the Commodore Cup class, where he spent 3 seasons. His best result was 2^nd in the Commodore Cup championship. 

He hopes to keep motor racing as long as he can, eventually moving into faster and faster cars (when he can earn more money). The car is fun to drive and even with little horsepower, Jon’s aim is to have as much fun as he can in NZ Super Sedans.

Car

1985 VK Commodore, based on the ex Tranzam Lite class, with an HQ 202 engine, 4 speed gearbox and locked diff. About 220 HP.
