John is 45 years of age, an avid Ford fan and a resident of Palmerston North for many years

John has been racing for about 4 years, Manfeild is his home track but he enjoys the tight corners of Taupo. 2006 is his first year in NZ Super Sedans having purchased the car last year. He has spent much of 2005 along with a group of good friends getting the car ready.

Having had two seasons in the winter series at Manfeild and Taupo John has had the urge to try his luck with the big boys. “It’s going to be a lot of learning, but everyone I have spoken to, has been enthusiastic and full of advice on how the car should run and obviously how it used to perform with Brendan Neiman at the wheel.
